Great analysis on the Swayman signing, a lot of people aren’t taking into account that in 3 years when he GETS TO his prime he will only be 8% of the cap hit and for a guy who will be super experienced by then, it could genuinely end up as one of the best contracts in the league
Was Tavares on the Left of Nylander ever tried? He’s used to Tavares on his left side, positional obligations not withstanding
Engvall’s reputation for being soft is well-known. In “NHL Chirp” compilations Nick Paul and Brandon Hagel bullied him in 2022 and Paul repeatedly told him how he wasn’t going to do anything.

Murray’s last year in Ottawa was actually good. He had positive goals saved above average, it’s just that Ottawa is where goalies go to die
I know Adam will never see this, but Myers is from Dieppe (the French side of Moncton) and is Acadian. His name would be pronounced more like “Feel-eep” or “Feel-ipp” and less like “Faleep”
Frederick Andersen was fantastic for them, but people in the media and then the fans started to blame him, and it affected his play, and it wasn't his fault. Andersen was the best goalie they had since Curtis Joseph.

1.) I’m a since birth bruins fan, but LOVE your podcast
2.) Adams “distaste” for us is SO painfully obvious, where Jesse and Steve def respect it but Adams “bias” clearly shows. It fits the show and the balance but I just need to point it out😂
3.) If reports were true of Sway asking for 9/10m signing him at 8.25m is a STEAL. And the bruins did win that negotiation.
4.) I’ll admit they did nearly “fumble” it, but they didn’t. It may have been ridiculous in social media aspect.
5.) I think the podcast got in their “heads” bc Lewis gross more than likely leaked lower than the Bruins ever offered. As yall said they allocated around 8m for sway. I highly doubt they offered anything under 7m. Lewis gross had everything to gain by making Boston look bad. Mission success.
But none the less here we are w Sway for 8 years. 😉😂

I'm pretty sure that before the Sabres signed Ruff and the Leafs signed Berube… there was word that Berube was interested in the coaching job in Buffalo. And I think he would have been a better pick, but the Pegulas just went with the nostalgia PR move not with the best guy available

Adam takes on Stolarz is nothing less than a dumb take. Campbell was fantastic for the leafs Samsonov did great when they won a round and just last season Jones was crazy good. Nothing Comes close to this guy takes

My lines, Knies-AM-Marner, Bobby Mac- Nylander/Domi- Domi/Nylander, Patch-Tavares-Nicky Bobby, Lorentz-Kampf-Reeves. I like Domi as center, people forget him during playoffs as center, he did so well. It gives coverage when you are trying Willy as a center. I would rotate, Jarkrok, Mcmann, Patch, Robertson, holmberg based on performance.

So either TML reduces their 3 $10M forwards by 1…

Or TML will never be able to afford a real stud franchise goalie.
Which means TML may get by round 1 some day…
But without the #1 GT, they ain't winning no SC.
Marner or Nylander has to go for them to afford a top tier GT.
