Clear intent to injure but once again, the refs have proven amateurish, at best. Bennett has a lengthy history of this and so does the Florida franchise. We also know the DoPS will do nothing. 2 min — open season on goalies I guess. Seems like a good trade off if you can sit in the box for 2 min but maybe take out the teams backstop.

Modern commentary in the nhl is amateur at best. Reffing is minor league and the bruins think because they look big on paper no ones gonna play hard against them. They got hammered by a team that looks alot the the real boston bruins.
Bennet is a goon. He’ll take any opportunity to purposely hurt opponents. In the 2023 playoffs with Toronto, he clearly hammered Knies’ head into the ice after a hit behind the net. Gave him a concussion and put him out for the remainder of the playoffs. No penalty – no action from the league. Typical.
