Should Richardson be kept around if this season becomes a repeat of last season? This team was totally overrun and out worked in the first period. Just like last season, the Hawks could hardly get it in the offensive zone, and when they dumped the puck in, they would always lose the puck battle.
Another long friggin season with a clueless general manager and even more clueless head coach. So so tired of the same old rerun. Ugh why even bother.
We looked old and slow most of the game.

Whats the point of signing mediocre north of 30 players. Can't wait for the 25 draft. And Kyle don't pass on the best player for need.
Are they building stamina with the guys, or are they being too easy on them? I can't figure this out. I know they have a ton of players who still don't know each other, but they're all pros now or have been for years. We need a team, not 23 names.

I don't know if it took a minute for them to get over the altitude or what…but they were awful. a 3-0 hole is not idea. To person who says fire Luke Richardson, what exactly will that accomplish? Luke Richardson hasn't had a roster for two years…..this is the first time he had a halfway decent roster and it still sucks. And don't give me that Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane BS the first year he was here. Even when those players were on the roster and playing, they still couldn't win. Think about it. DeBrincat, Toews, Kane, Fleury, Bradon Hagel, you STILL couldn't win.
If they aren't real close to 500 by Xmas dump him!
Kyle signed the old guys and it showed. Maroon and Martinez are hurting the Hawks, get rid of them and bring the boys up from Rockford. Much better 2nd & 3rd but at the end you knew the NHL was going to make sure Utah won their first game. Luke, you best get the team going or you and Kyle should be out!
A lot of morons in these comments. This is not a winning roster, and it isn’t supposed to be. We still need some major pieces up front and unfortunately that’s gonna require landing in a premium draft position. Don’t act like overpaying some UFAs was going to be enough to make this team a winner this year. Patience.
