I have been to 1 Kraken game so far, and the price is absolutely the main driver. We were in the nosebleeds and still spent around $600 when it was all over. Just can’t justify that for a hockey game

I’ve been buying my tickets through the NHL promotions website so far I’ve gotten tickets for two for nine games. They’re around $100 each, so yeah you should be able to get lower bowl tickets for four for under $500. If you don’t mind sitting further back, you might be able to swing it and get food too but doubtful as concessions are pretty expensive there.

Group tickets/promotions tab if anybody’s interested. I’m not sure what they have available as they were on sale a couple months ago. With these promotions, you mostly get a hat or a tote bag. There’s also one with a thermos.

Unfortunately it’s all supply and demand.

They have a product people are willing to pay and as long as they are filling the seats with butts they’ll keep pushing the price envelope.

If the team starts to faulted and the seats start getting empty prices will go down, but if they again become a contender they’ll go back up.

Such is the way of the world.

It definitely sucks for those that can’t afford it no doubt, but Seattle is an expensive city and there is no shortage of people willing to pay the price as it stands. I personally would love to go to more games but we have to make it a whole “vacation plan” due to the pricing, so it’s not like a “off the cuff” decision. We have to save and plan it out months in advanced.

A friendly reminder that family packs exist. 4x tickets + hot dogs, drinks, popcorn for ~$150. Great for those who just want to go to a game for the first time without a significant financial investment. The seats will be at or near the top, with great views of the media catwalk, but a good option especially with young kids who won’t know any different.

Just went to the home opener. $29 ticket for 215 Row C and $20 parking. Obviously a little different but deals can be hand depending on when you buy.

  7. I’ve been priced out for a while. I mainly get my hockey fix at the Seattle Thunderbirds, which is a little bit more in my price range.

It’s frustrating, but I’m just glad it’s way easier to watch them online this season.

Yeah I can basically go once or twice a year at this point. It is actually insane how much the concessions are. I keep thinking that they would make up the difference if they were half the price since people would buy more items but what do I know.

Never had a problem with Ticketmaster at other stadiums.

Just wait till they are out of playoff contention…so February,

There is, literally, a special that does exactly that, tickets, food, drinks foe about $350 less than that, but that reality would get far less clicks.

Yeah, I’m going to exactly one game so far this year – the BOS matchup in December. I have a parent who needs ADA compliant seating, so that and the related costs of going to SEA are a bit extra much on my budget even with them helping out.

But then again, not that TD Garden is much better lmaooooooo…..
