I sat right behind him about 8 feet away for the preseason practices at IceHaus and watched and listened to him. The more I read about him and hear about him, the more excited I am about Coach Evason. From his demeanor to his style of play to his love of theater – this guys is special and the PERFECT Coach for the CBJ, imo. I expect this season to be brutal as far as our record, but if the team takes on the Coach’s style, we will be so much better going forward.

I really like Evason. I cannot wait to watch us play. we may not win, but if we play hard and keep grinding, it’ll be a fun year. Let the kids grow, and the leaders lead, and we will have a fruitful year. I am sure he is going to be the best thing since Torts here. He seems like Torts light, which should be a good thing.
