Zegras just needs to enjoy playing again. How the coaching staff treated him last year and off season was clown behavior. Z on his game is easily our best player, also is one of our most competitive.
I think Zegras will play good hockey this year and to be honest the man goal for him is to continue playing his style of hockey and stay fun with it this year
He needs to be consistent. Most teams have a guy capable of making a handful of highlight reel goals every year. That doesn't make your team a winner. It just sells some extra jerseys and gives fans false hope.

You know your hockey team is in trouble when the biggest addition to the team is a five-million-dollar laser light show.
Here is some inside information and some of it is also my speculation based off of what I heard. Montreal Has been trying to trade for Zegras aggressively because he is best friends with Cole Caufield (who I begged the ducks to try to get, aka I wanted them to make a trade and take him at #13 but they didn't). The trade with Zegras was very close to happening. The trade was this: David Reinbacher and a 2025 1st round pick. Not sure if it would be montreal's or calgary's. However, two days after I heard this Reinbacher got injured due to him having knee issues. As for Cam Fowler, I heard we were trying to trade him for a 1st round pick and retain 50% as well. Sasha I haven't heard much about other than I guess his defense needs a lot of work and all he wants to work on during training is his offense.
