Kucherov stat pad at the end was hilarious but he deserves it. Felt like he was responsible for 80% of the Lightning’s scoring chances and was responsible defensively. Guentzel looked pretty good, didn’t score a goal but didn’t make mistakes, generated chances, and had a good scoring chance in the 3rd period. Vasi and Hedman having a strong start to a potential bounce back season. Good start all around
Script writer got it right. Hurricane did some damage but Tampa beat it.
That pass at 5:32 would have made for one of the craziest assists if it had gone it
Oof! Carolina's definitely feeling the absence of Teravainen, Noesen, Skjei, and Pesce.
