Just enjoy the season and take the pressure off, if we are dogshit in two or three years time when the vet/bad contracts are done then we can get depressed

Duh….. both of these young players developed way faster then they were expected too. That is a good thing! Remember, S. Yzerman is still like a year ahead in the progress that HE expected. ( He has indicated so much in numorous videos that have been posted over the years. Stop listening for things you want him to say and pretending that he said it and actually listen specifically to his words. He always tells you what's coming in a very honest way and t😢hen he sets out to do it). The youth movement of good prospects and big trades doesn't really begin until the Copp and Compher contracts run out. I think that is in 2025. This is only a problem when you try to rush the timeline for cap management that he set in place from the beginning. 😊 So you all need to take some nerve pills or you re going to develop high bp and get a stroke ! Jeeze man, please have a reality check !
I don't understand how you can have the most laughably bad defensive roster in the NHL, then be surprised when it turns out to be laughably bad..
So why not try edvisson and Johansson same line since they played the same line in the ahl for a while.
I will always wonder what these Yzerman teams could have been with a different coach! All his free agents are guys that need motivation. Lalonde is not that guy!

This team defense is bad, and to call up Holl over Johansson is just crazy.
They for sure looked out of sorts last night. I thought it was a mistake to not have any games in the preseason running a full nhl roster. No one has really gelled yet.

Also i think we could just trade the entire 3rd line. Maybe keep Fischer and trade veleno. Then bring up kasper and mazur and bump jonny burgers up to 3rd line and fischer to 4th with motte and watson.

I don't much care for Lalonde. He is not a head coach. The real problem is Yzerman. He was a hell of a hockey player but his general managing skills are very questionable, Most of the players that Yzerman has picked up over the years have never really amounted to much over their careers.
Yzerman best get a goalie soon or it will be his downfall,…don't miss the playoffs again ,time to take notes from the Tigers,…it don't take a generation to build a hockey team
I gave up on the Yzerplan long ago. Signing Holl was the icing on the cake. Go Lions.
Why is Maatta never talked about at all? His +/- was near the best on the team last year. Last night in a 6-3 loss, he was still a 0 on the +/- while playing over 18 minutes. He doesn't put up good offensive numbers, but at least he doesn't make a lot of mistakes and is underrated defensively, in my opinion.

Both Chariot and Ed were caught looking around in front of our net, others were not marking the late Pen going to the center of the net…..then the puck was in the net.
The effort looked uninspired, the team defensive positioning was a mess. Also didn't like the lack of hitting from the forwards, with the exception of Veleno and Rass. Those things can be fixed with coaching. That being said, they still have 81 games left.

Why chiarot and petry? Petry lelf the game in the 2nd. Guatafsson made terrible decisions in his zone that led to at least 2 goals. Maata and Gus were on the ice for most goals against
Yzerman has done a terrible job build this blue line, are 2nd best defenseman is a rookie. Hornek and Walkman out the door? Imagine this blue line if we had a top 4 of Seider Walkman Hornek and Edvinsson? Not the best in the word but probably top half of the league at lest.
