I would be all over this tbh. If it pushes Jokiharju and Samuelsson down the depth chart or out of the lineup it’s a good deal.

Perhaps they’d be interested in swapping for another underperforming RHD
We already have the most expensive defense in the NHL we cannot add another guy making $3m unless we dump Samuelsson on someone

Basically like adding another Jokiharju. I don’t see the point. Also a 3M cap hit for next year.
