Can anyone explain the logic behind prospects needing to earning a spot but then Johansson only made the roster in fear of being claimed, didnt beat anyone out at camp and is sitting in the pressbox eating popcorn .

Who wants to argue goalies with me? No one wanted to yesterday lol There was a lot of hate on Husso here the last couple days and people blaming him for the god awfulness. Lets discuss (discuss means using your words not just the downvote button)

Now REALLY look at the goals scored against us and pay attention to Husso and Talbot.
Husso had 4 goals tell me which ones are his fault.
1- He shut down the initial path, they bounced it in off of Chiarot like a chump
2- Made the save, rebound went straight to his stick on the other side, he wasn’t covered
3- He was in position and shut down the lane, they passed to a WIDE OPEN Oconnor who skates right on in
4- He missed that, He got shook, right decision to swap Goalies imo
Talbot
5- He gets in position for it, and gets beat when he goes high- Again No defense for him, standing directly in front of the goal all by himself (disallowed hand pass)
5- Powerplay, he’s in good position, doesn’t see it soon enough, doesn’t look screened much either
6 – He’s in position and gets beat again on a quick shot. Again no D in front of him.
People trash talking either goalie in this game is just flat out wrong.
Husso didn’t have a chance on 3/4,
Talbot was beat 3 times, benefit of the doubt he was screened once.
So please explain your position of THIS game blaming Husso, genuinely interested in hearing your take.

Going to the red carpet td I’m getting both my cat and Kane jerseys signed
Holl would come up either way for the lefty / righty flexibility (not that I care much about that). But it’s good to hear Lalonde say that Aljo is going to get an opportunity in the next game or two. Would love to see him get reps since being a rookie defenseman is a big developmental curve. It’d be nice to see what he’s got. I also think some 11-7 games are a real possibility. Worked well last year
Thursday was the end of a great run at wings games for me. I hadn’t been at a loss since new years in 2016 :/. usually 2-3 games a year since I don’t live in Michigan, but still a good record
