Not worried about Matheson but worrying stats for Barron and Xhekaj to start the year.
With Hutson on the team, there is no need for Matheson. If we want to start winning we can't have him on the team, that's just the bottom line.
Matheson is currently overplayed and you need to have Barron and xhekaj be more consistent.
The one thing I noticed about Hutson though, is he can't for the life of him clean up the front of the net lol
Whenever Hutson is on the ice he makes things happen, that's a special kind of player indeed.
Sample size they are a bad team bottom 5 all depends how many points goaltending steals and they are horribly coached on the defensive side of the puck there's no support for this young group horrible coaching
Didn't expect Hutson to be already pushing to take Matheson's job on the first powerplay unit in 2 damn games
The coach in Laval already said his job is to prepare young players to fit into the Habs system seamlessly. If Kapanen is sent to Laval he will be getting NHL class development, lots of ice time and can be called up to get some experience this season as needed. Great show guys! GO HABS GO!

I don't think they'll send Kapanen to Laval unless Kapanen agree to it.
there was so much talk in the preseason about managing Hutson's minutes and roles to start the season. It seems like all that has gone out the window. It is a long season especially for young players coming from college where they play a lot fewer games. I hope they don't overload him and he gets tired, which increases injury risk big time. They need to be patient with him. Management/coaches need to fix some problems with other players and not rely on a youngster to cover them up.

The only thing that you stats genius haven't been able to understand is Hutson will be targeted by the opposition and hit very hard so expect him to be injured very soon and the same applies to most Habs rookies forwards they are scared that is why the Habs need a bigger 4th line if not well the season is over let's go for the # 1 pick next season
