[Appleyard] SKA probably did not deserve to win that game… but Flyers Zavragin stopped 35/37 shots (.946) in a 5-2 win. First win for SKA

This is the sort of thing that is giving me added confidence in the FO. Goalies are hard and finding a 19 year old who is dominating in the KHL is really exciting.

The 4 wins also includes a 36 save shut out

It’s gonna be a completely new feeling for flyers fans when Ersson’s in his prime and Zavragin is the up-and -comer. The future is bright y’all

.939 save percentage and 3 losses out of 7 games? Are they pelting this dude with like 50 shots per game? Or is the offense just not scoring any goals for him?

Uhhhh this kid might just be a monster..

Honestly if this kid and Jett hits I will stop questioning Danny’s picks during the draft

  6. It’s a bizarre feeling having dealt with the Flyers perpetually struggling to find good goaltending throughout most of my life to see the organization all of a sudden flush with talent at that position. They let Carter Hart go and it’s barely caused a ripple on the ice.
