  1. These kids are gonna be a huge factor this season. #6 and #51 will be key factors moving forward for this club…. They are in the best locker room for their growth too. The culture combined with their talent….. Sky is the limit! I'm gonna have to purchase a Lohrei and a Poitras jersey real soon.

  2. "The Poitras Show"
Is it time to move Koepke up? Or is his chemistry with Kastilic and Beecher to good? Real Question. I have to concede with consensus Carlo not at his best, but either is the rest of the defense other than Peeke. Peeke is making everyone look good. Marchand has to move up with Lindholm and Pasta.
Geekie is a waste on 2nd line. How about for second line: zacha. Poitras. Freddy

3rd line is a Black Hole
Throw some rookies on 3rd line and force Geekie and Brazeu bring their A Game. Centered by By Coyle for Vet Presence and Coaching. Just a thought.

Beefy or Not our D look like Bricks on ice other than Lohrei in OT

  3. When Poitras is on the ice, he is on that puck like a magnet. It's just incredible. I am so afraid that he gets injured because if he stays healthy, he's going to be the best player on this team. Unreal.

  4. Yknow? Now that I look at it…kinda miss the old kings jersey. The sleek black is nice.

  5. Pasta has been a beneficiary and hasn’t created any chances on his own. but he gets goals so whatever. Marchand is looking good but he needs line mates. Geeke shouldn’t be there and Coyle is doing nothing and should be a third liner. I’m liking Poitras. He makes everyone around him better and should be in the top 6. I’m also liking Lindholm who looks like he can be a point per game guy. I’m worried about Freddie’s ceiling and if he already hit it last year. Carlo is up to his usual again.

  6. Was at the game. Swayman had some big saves early. Kings, like you said, were opportunistic especially on the pk. Nice feed by Lohrei on the OT winner.

  7. Pasta's turnovers are a huge huge problem. I've done the math in some games over the past couple years by counting every time Pasta touches the puck… Some games were 98.2% of Pastrnak touches result in a turnover. He's not a good stickhandler, yet he is incessantly trying to take the puck directly through the other team's defense by himself, often he will try to take it past ALL 5 players and it NEVER FREAKING WORKS. Why does he do this? Is he trying to slow the play to allow our defense to change out? Is he doing it to give the other players a moment to set up a play behind him? He never gets the puck on the damn net. He just tries to deke and angle just past the blue line, like ''DERP! WATCH ME MOM! I'M GOING TO SMOKE THE ENTIRE TEAM WITH MY FLASHY STICK SKILLS AND SCORE A GOAL! WATCH ME WATCH M…. (oops I hit his skates. oops it fell off my stick. oops! oops! oops! oops!). Please my friends… please tell me if I'm right about this? Am I being really critical of Pasta, or does he turn the puck over all the time?! Almost all of his goals come from a good tape to tape pass from the other players. He is good at disguising his shots and bating the other teams' defense and goalies, but these shots come only after another player has set the play for a pass to Pasta. This has been going on with him for years. Surely the rest of the guys get upset with him for not passing to open players beside him.
I am curious what the rest of you think about Pasta. Am I just being a fool? Or does pasta have a very serious problem with turnovers?

  8. Panthers just have a better structure around the o-zone than the Bruins. They use the boards and find more passing lanes which gets the Bruins puck watching. Long season, Go Bssssssssss

  9. I have liked lindholms game, offensive chemistry has room to grow but noticable defensively.
I like Geekie as a depth guy, but he has zero points and is a -2 and he even getting pp 2 minutes. Colye has also looked bad in the o zone. It is really pathetic when the 4th line looks miles ahead of your second line in the ozone. Time to shake it up.

  10. I've been trying to figure out what player Potsy reminds me of, this early in his career, and I figured it out this game. It's Trevor Moore. Same stature, similar play style, same skating ability, at least when Moore was in Toronto. Potsy hopefully has a much much much higher ceiling than Moore, but damn if he's not exciting to watch right now. Love the kid so much.

  11. Please move geekie off top 6 actually move of team I'd rather have tufte on 3rd line than him.

  12. Also, hate to say it, but Marchand looks like absolute donkey butt right now. I don't think he was ready to come back, he can't outskate a defender, can't connect on a pass, can't hit the freakin net more than once, and can't hold onto the puck. He looks like he's not even close to 100%.

  13. Swayman did great in my fantasy today, and to make things better I have Moore who scored the one goal for LA. So that’s better than anything

  14. I liked Poitras from day one. But now I'm quickly becoming a fan. He skates like Marchand and handles the puck like Bergeron.

Would you believe some people dismissed Poitras when he was selected? No reason to draft him, we were told. Likely won't play in the NHL. I won't mention names, but perhaps those opinions were ill conceived? lol 🤣

  15. I know it's early, but the Bruins look slow and out of shape, compared to previous iterations. I hope it's just an early season getting up to speed thing.

  16. Idk about hockey but I too am looking at the PP coaches suspiciously. Is it possible that the PPgets the team out of the flow of its system and puts too much pressure on them to score? Maybe they have a more defensive minded game and the power play interrupts their preferred strategy

  17. Gotta remember 1st line will get better I know you said your not worried but they just need reps they’ll be fine, lindholm looking back to himself, Zacha is good with pasta, I think we just need a good 8-10 games of play and a good road trip so the boys can get away together and build some cohesion and brotherhood, unfortunately this happens especially after we shit the bed in 23
