Didn't recognise the #30 goalie for the Blues, and had to go look him up. For a moment, I thought Jake Allen was still playing there, but no, it's a new guy named Hofer. At least they're not risking Binnington's antics on ice right now. As far as the Sharks go: Glad the franchise still has some vestiges of life left, but I keep holding out hope that they'll do something spectacular to explain why Arizona got moved to Utah instead of the Sharts.
Sharks will get better. It won't happen overnight. Just like with Crosby's first season. Pens still sucked. Next season – not as bad. Season after that, they get to the SC Finals. Then, finally, the next season…..BOOM! Stanley Cup.
Sharks 70s line looks good. But in classic Sharks fashion, still found a way to lose it (and be well outshot as well). Future's bright, it'll just take a few more years.
the sharks looked pretty sloppy in basically all three zones. a lot of errant passes and miscues. 40 shots against isnt exactly winning hockey. we gotta tighten up on defense. seeing offensive production in the first game is good though. plenty of time to become more solid in a three zones
The Sharks are almost certainly still going to be pathetically bad this year… But personally I don't really care, they're going to be fun to watch for the first time in far too long and that's enough.
I think Dorofeyev’s first NHL goal was the most ridiculous haha it was a deflection off his face mask like a soccer goal! Quite embarrassing for it to be your memorable first goal lol

those were two beauties from celebrini – dude is silky smooth and such a good skater. As a leafs fan all I can say is major 2016 matthews four goal opener vibes. This kid is gonna be special
