Unless I’ve missed the mark I believe the Canucks were promoting the game against Crosby and the Pens as being a Black Skate game when they were showing the promo on the Jumbotron at Friday’s game. I don’t believe they’ve released a comprehensive Black Skate schedule though

They just painted Roger’s arena in blue/green so unlikely we see skate full time.

I’m guessing Oct 28, Oct 30 and Dec 23 are Black Skate nights given the logo graphics used to promote those Community and Fan Engagement Nights

This may be a hot take but here it goes: I’m glad we don’t see the skate that often. Blue and green are automatically the default Canucks colours and part of the teams identity. There are already a bunch of black jersey + coloured stripe teams in the league, i.e. pittsburgh or boston. The canucks skate is an amazing journey and colour combo but what makes it special in modern times is the rarity in it’s use. So I’m glad it’s not the full time because it just gets me more hyped when they do use it.
