Coach…..you need to be able to project a Stand-Up Blueline focus….you need to run more structured pre-set playactions(because you need to be anticipating better as a 6 man Group and cashing on more 2nd chance/rebound opportunities emanating from PUCK RECOVERY in the O-Zone} following the Creativity method works but not all the time….Start and stop Periods with pre-set playactions as a RULE(The2minute Drill) work the "creativity angle" into the game once the rust is off everyone. Not saying to go to strictly pre-set playactions just saying to better Micro-manage the Tactical side of things to start and end periods. Remember most accidents happen just when you leave home and just before you get home,same in a hockey game its the beginning and the end of periods that are most dangerous (get your Nerds to look it up to make me be right again)so we will MANAGE that dynamic in 2 Minute increments using pre-planned set playactions(The2minuteDrill) ,right Coach. Lets get our ship together, times flying by quickly now.

I'm so mentally prepared for a worse start than last season 2-9-1 start, top 6 firepower is completely shutdown, our 5 on 5 defence is meh, our goaltending is struggling to reach a 90 SV%…the team isn't mentally and physically ready at all…
This is and always be a team game. You win together and lose together. They just do not have the full team game down yet. Seen what looks like a little frustration, cause they want to win. Focus on the next one.
These are grown men not children. They know what happened at the beginning of last year. Their performance is disgraceful. If players aren’t playing with a sense of urgency get rid of them.
Since creepy Stan Bowman is here you might as well hire Joel Quenneville at least he won 3 cups and is a fiery coach that will kick some sense back into this team

Well when the oilers were busy patting themselves on the back in the off season, the rest of the NHL teams that also didnt win a stanley cup were working things out to be better this season.

Overrated team and a team that overachieved last year. They are weak at every position.
