The Connor OT winner was nasty, as was the goal covered in the video. I would really like to see more of the goalie being pulled in the last seconds of the period. Makes in more interesting to me.
I was there, sitting a few rows behind the net, everyone was leaving and then suddenly the whole arena exploded into cheering
I remember a game in the early 70's between Montreal and Toronto. Scoreless game, there was a faceoff in the Leafs zone with 6 seconds left and Montreal pulled their goalie. And they scored with 2 seconds left to win 1-0!

With how bad Minny is in the faceoff dot, you could pull the goalie with 10+ seconds. They aren’t winning that draw

Finland did this agaisnt Czech to even the score 1-1 or 2-2 (forgot) when it was like 1.8 sec left. It def is worth to gamble with it.
I was at the game. Refs broke the unwritten rule. Bogosian was just barely holding his stick and the refs call it with 1.1 seconds left in the 3rd period, game tied 1-1. I get that it was a penalty but that’s just something you dont call in that situation.
I mean the extra player doesn't even factor in. If they didn't pull the G. It would have been the same thing

In the NBA, if the shot is in the air when the buzzer goes, the point is counted. Would be interesting to implement a similar rule in the NHL if there is an empty net involved.
