What is Discord?
Discord is a communication platform designed for creating communities. It combines voice, video, text, and image sharing into one app – think of it like Slack or Skype.
Why join?
It's a smaller version of our community here on Reddit with a tight knit group, some of which have been on the server since it was created in 2016! We have channels for: game day "threads", general chat, gaming chat, advanced stats discussions, whiskey and BBQ/Smoker lovers, and more! There's also custom emoji and stickers of your favorite Red Wings.
I'm interested – what do I do?
Create an account on Discord, once that's done click the invite link at the top of this post to join our server! Once joined, we have a small form of verification that requires you to go through our rules channel and click an acknowledgment (a Mo Seider reaction emoji) to gain a role that unlocks all channels. If you get stuck or have questions message any mod on Discord (or here) and we'll be happy to help out any time.
