While it is likely due to youth, inexperience, and playing against tougher competition than he is used to, Bahl made some really bad mistakes last night. I expect him to improve a lot over the next few seasons but right now his game is pretty rough.
I know it’s early in his career, but Dustin Wolf looks pretty legit. I think the Flames finally drafted and developed a good goalie for the first time in decades.
I think this is more how the season is going to go than the first 3 games, but the boys are not giving up at all this year and everyone looks to have bought into the new system. 0 expectations and nothing but hustle is a good look for the squad. It’s a good year to be a Flames fan
We didn’t play a great game really. Wolfie held us in it, last season we lose that game. Gotta be good to be lucky and lucky to be good.
