I've lost 4 older siblings tragically including a brother also named Johnny. Watching this made me cry those same heartbreaking tears. But also it helped me to smile and feel joy because focusing on the wonderful good they did when they were alive is all you can do to overcome the unbearable pain. RIP Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau 😇🏒😇. My heart goes out to your families and all your fans💙

As a new father, hearing about everything Johnny left behind and seeing the damage done breaks my heart. I may not be a Flames or Jackets fan but I will always be a fan of Johnny Hockey. Your impact on and off the ice will never fade and Meredith and those little kiddos are so lucky to have been able to call you theirs. Rest in peace brother
