Sometimes people forget that stuff happens quick on the ice with no context from the replays we see until after. Doan's instinct was to go after the person who had his captain on the ice.
If the ref wasn't stopping play due to penalty or injury, then an extra two should be handed out especially since it stopped an opposing team's rush.
In a perfect world Doan would have gotten 2 for stopping play, 2 for ending the opposing team's odd man rush, and 2 for aggressive hugging instead of actually fighting.
I miss the days when we could mock basketball and baseball fights, or dives in soccer.
He fell down because he cant skate. Gudas should've kept the gloves on and baited a long Power Play. His team really could've used it. Smh, no situational awareness.
