I never want to see Jarry in between the pipes for the Penguins again. I realize that isnt very feasible but that is where I'm at.
Jarry brought the team down. Either trade him or don't ever play him again.
Jarry is losing support in that city in droves.
Giving Jarry that fat contract was unforgivable malfeasance. But the D is also a continued weakness. Is it coaching or players? Still, great win for the offense and Blummy!
On a side note what the heck was up with Erik Karlsson in this game????? He was just really bad and seemed to make mistake after mistake. And on top of that Letang hasn’t looked very good either…..
Also related, This power play was either scoring goals or looking like the worst PP in history. No in between lol.
Amazing achievement for both Sid and Geno! On another note, who were the clowns last year who argued with me about Jarry not being a problem and how his garbage play doesn't completely deflate his team? I've been saying that for years…He's gotta go.. ever since that goal against the Isles in game 7, he has been so untrustworthy in net (and probably even before that). Play Blomqvist and Ned 1A/1B
Jarry wants out IMO and he should. If you cant trade him buy him out, the team doesnt trust him Everyone has given up on him including himself
I've just posted, but who remembers that 6-0 lead against New Jersey a few years ago in the third period? Jarry gave up 5 goals in the 3rd and barely held on (and I think NJ had a post in there). This would have been the biggest collapse in NHL history. That sums up Jarry to a tee…
Sid and Geno are unreal..we are just incredibly lucky to have had them on the team for so long and what will likely be their whole careers. You know it's weird as great as Jagr was I consider Geno to be more of a Penguin. So respectable that he stayed for all the years even though he could have left and been number one on any other team in the league for so long. We are blessed.
As far as Jarry goes I finally agree too. It's just been too long now. It's not all him I mean our defense for the most part is horrible too. As much offensive upside as Karlsson brings he is just so bad on the other side of the puck. He literally almost cost us the game last night.misplaying that puck in the first which led to a goal..and when we pulled to within one giving up not one but two breakaways that looked to be pretty obviously on him. There are just so many games like this. Wouldn't mind trying him out at forward at this point to be honest.

I've been hoping that Jarry would get it together, but it's not looking that way. So disappointing
IMO, pulling Jarry and having Joel step in and make some huge saves sparked the team last night and made everything else that happened in the game possible.
Absolutely terrible. No defense Jarry is Absolutely the worst graves sucks..everyone was slow nobody chasing pucks..only the 3rd line ,letang is off crosby is off..so slow..not coming out an flying..an please put conner back on crosbys line..

Maybe Jarry needs a change of environment. In Some other club, in some other environment maybe he will find his game and confidence.

Amazing night for Sid & Geno! I have been saying this since the end of last year….I want to see Ned & Bloomqvist our 1&2 goalies!!!! Time to get rid of Jarry, we may need or have to swallow $$, but we're done unless we do!

Congratulations to Malkin and Crosby on their personal milestones. it’s been a complete honor to watch every game. truly incredible that I have been a part of the fandom of the Penguins and Steelers through some of the greatest players. and then to think about the Pirates is why I get so infuriated by their lack of desire to be great. truly is the city of champions. besides the Pirates.

While Jarry was awful, so was the entire defensive core in regulation. Especially 65. Glad they got that win. Go pens!

Although Geno was on his butt, he certainly wasn't laying an egg that went into the back of the net. Speaking of laying eggs, I'm glad it was on national TV. It always felt to me the pens usually laid eggs when in the national spotlight.

I’m ashamed of this penguins fan base sometimes, this fan base turns into Philly levels of hatred classlessness and rage and it’s sad to see Crosby Geno and Letang get caught in the crosshairs of boos and sneers during their twilight years. Spot on assessment. I defended Jarry for years, but I am so done with this guy. When he's in net you just know the other team is going to score.
I don't know how you move that contract, but if this team really wants to contend, and this forward group is showing that that's exactly what they want to do, then Tristan Jarry cannot be a part of it.
Those goals last night were brutal, and this guy is 5M AAV. Unacceptable even before you consider how he is in must-win games.
thank you for getting on Jarry's case. Every time I say he's a problem I get beat down for it. Yesterday was just more proof that his head is somewhere else.

DK you can go back to a comment I made a month or so ago on one of your power play videos where my opinion was Geno needs to set up on the PP on his one timer side and be a goal scorer. I want him to have one more 40-50 goal season bc I know that will equal success for the Pens
What a game! I'm with you DK on Jarry – it's the body language that is most concerning and Joel and Ned should be the 2 goalies on the Penguins roster at this point.
