This past season we finally saw the former 1st overall pick of the New York Rangers Alexis Lafreniere have a breakout season putting up 57 points mostly at even strength. This season Lafreniere is off to a great start and seems to be poised for another big season under head coach Peter Laviolette.

8×8 might end up being a huge steal. He definitely has the skill to put huge point totals. I predict that the day after he signs, he'll be put on PP1. Are they keeping his point totals down on purpose? That would be an evil genius move.

How is troch our #1 center, I mean people have been dumping on big Z but he leads centers on our team in points and face off percentage. It just goes to show the difference between expectations and reality. I still take Z over troch any day. I am still not sure line two wouldn’t be better with chytil. I get the love affair sometimes however, when you break it down and you look at defense skating edge, Work speed talent. Chytil is the better player troch has hart and face offs he currently has been out kicking his coverage so to speak as far as his production but when you break down the talent level, especially taking into account the age, I’m not even sure troch isn’t our 3rd best center. Either way it’s a fantastic problem to have because I love all three of the guys.
