Penguins captain Sidney Crosby receives the secondary assist on Bryan Rust’s goal to record his 1600th career point, becoming just the 10th player to ever reach this NHL milestone
1600 points is an insane achievement considering the low scoring eras he played a large chunk of his career in. Same with Ovechkin being close to 1600 also. Plus his almost career ending injuries. Thereβs no debate at all heβs the greatest player of his generation bar none

If Geno scored instead who would keep the puck?
Props to Lemieux. He was his mentor let Crosby live in his house during his rookie days. Taught him well π₯

GOAT
Who seen the guy throw a temper tantrum and whack homies stick out his hands while celebrating? π
Vintage Sidney Crosby Reaching 1600th Career NHL Points
NHL is so cheap it doesn't show the crowd reaction when the PA announcer says he reached 1600 career points
I do feel they give out assists way too freely, but Sid did get the okay started by stripping the puck so it's cool.
4th best of all time. What a player
Who cares Crosby overrated and old time to go buddy.
Still 1257 pts. to catch gretz.
The work Crosby put in to recover the turnover is incredible, no wonder heβs top ten all time
Even as a Sabres fan, what a game. And what a player π
Just don't understand how this doesn't get more attention. Pretty amazing.
Dis guy and Geni Malkin are legends keep going guys πͺπͺ
