  1. 😭 Thank you so much, Laura! It's so kind of you to shout me out!

As promised, I'll talk Habs and/or the Avs with you anytime. I'm always capable of talking haha.

Totally agree with you about Dach. We just can't hit the panic button yet. He needs time more than anything else.

  2. For the mailbag: I've actually been wondering what it is about Nick Suzuki that's let him (knock on wood) be healthy even with the injury plague that's been going around for the last few seasons. What are your theories? Is he just made of magic or is it his playing style? Something else? Just luck?

(For any hockey gods reading this, this is NOT a complaint or challenge)

  3. You’re right about getting back in game shape. Give him a month or two before we write him off as a bust acquisition.

  4. Slot in Pezzetta on fourth. 11th in NHL in hits last year and we miss him. Slaf should not be our hits leader.

  5. Huge fan of Dach but he's struggling and fan expectation was too high after that injury. In 'soccer' no one ever comes back from that the same and skating you put unnatural stress through the knee compared to running, so this was bound to be an issue. It's time to move him down the lines, move another Centre up and reduce his workload until he's at 90%+

  6. For the mailbag: Seeing as Dach is likely going to need a half a season+ to get to form, what happens when Laine comes back? Reset the progress of the second line? Laine will have been out for almost a season and a half and will likely go through the same re-adjustment. Knowing what Dach is going through now, what can we expect from Patty when he gets back in the lineup?
