  1. with a bit of help defensively and goaltending wise, we have enough to challenge for the wild card spot. Would love to see the boys in the show one last time though!

  2. The media loves to cling to the penguins for headlines. The penguins have missed the playoffs the last 2 years for a reason and they only got older not better. They won’t be doing anything but playing their 82 games.

  3. They have one of the oldest rosters in the league and questionable goaltending. I highly doubt they make playoffs when they have no significant young core players.

  4. give the bottom six some credit. they look great and if the depth can continue, if the D can tighten up and goaltending stay consistent (not playing jars), a post season run is absolutely possible.

  5. If we get goaltending from Blomqvist and Ned, the bottom 6 keeps rocking, Rakell stays hot, we could be a playoff team. Once you make the playoffs, anything can happen.
