This roster is horrendous. Still no elite forward, Still no help for Seider, Powerplay worse, board play worse, scoring worse, effort lapses worse.. goaltending worse, nearly unwatchable. 6 years in we still donāt have an elite player. Trade prospectsā¦ draft picksā¦ do a complete youth movementā¦ SOMETHING. Inject some life into this apathetic fan base. Brutal hockey.

Steve needs to make some major changes befor we are 5-20. We spent way too much cap this year to be playing this bad. Itās unwatchable. I belive our AHL team can put up more of a fight at this point. Itās a disgrace to the city and legacy of the franchise.

If you canāt defend, you are not a playoff team. There should be no ātrying to get betterāā¦. NHL isnāt a development league for veterans. You didnāt look any better against Pittsburgh who you should be fighting for a playoff spot so the reality is the veterans lack of execution despite their over priced salary and terrible goaltending
The poweplay setup is so obvious for the opposing team to defend, which is so stressful to watch when they canāt bury one. The PK is the most frustrating to watch. They need to change there style to actually attack and apply pressure to the other team. Too slow and stationary. Hopefully the next coach that gets hired, will have guys like Kasper, Mazur, Danielson and deploy an aggressive approach on the poweplay and most importantly the PK.
This team is a disgrace to hockey. Larkin, Raymond and Seider are the only players who care about winning. Doesnāt help that our coach is unmatched when it comes to bringing no energy to a group of people.

Chiarot talking about offensively minded players not buying into playing D while he's trying to always be on defense.. getting the puck and firing it back to the other team on a shite stretch pass every time is one way to get the team to practice playing defense all game.
Lalonde should have been fired last year. Yzerman needs to wake up and fire him. They need a coach who will demand a consistent work ethic. I sound like a broken record. I've been saying this stuff for a year. Also bring up the kids – Kasper especially and buyout Copps contract. Team seems like they want Lalonde fired. They look and sound apathetic.
If I were Chris Illitch, I'd request everyone watch that game, sit down in silence, and then ask them all coaches, players, gm to open their envelopes with their names on it (copy of the check they'd get per game or cost per game per player) and state: You think that was worth it for me? You think you earned that?

Ohhh man, that was bad. I didn't comment on the last game, because of the decent 1st period. There was nothing decent about this game. I'd bet the GR Team would've played a more cohesive and competent game against the rangers tonight after watching that. The offseason moves are so questionable, unless we're tanking for someone this year…
This defense is so bad, and it isn't Seider or Edvinsson ( the giveaways will go away with acclimation)… OUCH.
Take away all the special teams and we still lose 2-1 Lalonde, you can't just blame it solely on that. Light a fire in our boys or we'll be playing for a draft pick by February.

Please trade Kane to a team that if nothing else will be able to shoot his beautiful passes on the power play into the wide open net. This is every game now. He's got 1 point despite putting it on a tee for Raymond, DeBrincat, Compher on the power play every single game to start the year. This is just sad. I have no idea what he was thinking coming back here to this. He must have just not cared at all about 500 goals or getting the 90 points to catch Modano. Bc there was no clear path to it given what was on the team and who the coach is. And that was even before the horrific power play fails started.
