Filip Mesar With Hot Start (1G/3A/2 GMs)/Jared Davidson Scores/Beck’s Line Leads the Way – 10-12-24

It was a solid road game for the 2nd game of the season, but most of the damage done by Laval’s offense was from the Mesar-Beck-Davidson line as they had a strong game compared to the rest of the lines. It’s been an impressive start for Filip Mesar as he joins Logan Mailloux as the team leader in points with 4. The Adam Engstrom-Logan Mailloux pairing has been solid in the 2 games so far. Solid 1st start for Connor Hughes.

Hughes – stopped 23 of 25
Davidson – 1 goal, 5 shots, 2 pims, +1
Mesar – 1 assist, 1 shot, 2 pims, +1
Beck – 1 assist, 4 shots, 2 pims, +1

Tuch 1 on 1 Backhand Shot 2:46
Roy Slot Chance 2:59
Davidson Goal 3:52
Kidney Great Chance from Tuch 4:31
Mesar Nice Feed 6:55

  1. Hard to tell from just these highlights (that i very much thank you for sharing) but isn't Roy also starting to show slight improvements to his game ? Seems he had at least 2, if not 3, very well executed passes there.

  2. If Mesar can get going, we have another bottom 6 guy. Can you imagine the superstar power at top 6, and the depth in the bottom 6. With an amazing defense and great goaltending if Montembault stays great.
