This slow start has really surprised me. I would give more minutes to the 4th line, to let them get more involved and physical. If Vancouver starts slow too, maybe we'll be trading partners to shake things up…
It was sad to see our two # overall pick defensemen get stripped of the puck in our own zone, undressed, and scored upon. Awful for two #1 OVERALL picks!
If anyone knows the Pegula. Can you do me a favor and tell them I said to kindly f*** off and sell the team. They have ruined this team to such a mess that I cannot even watch the games anymore. I still live in my head of the early 2000's and that is what keeps me believing that better days will come. However, at this point I can't even support, or remain optimistic. I'm 100% absolutely beyond done. I feel like a parent who is watching there kid self destruct with drugs, stealing and etc. When you think they will finally do better and change, nope the disappointment continues. At this point I feel that many of us fans are 100% in the same position. The sad part is it's not even the young fans, because they have zero clue. It's the older ones 30+ years old who knew the success and unbelievable moments we all have shared with party in the plaza, praying, and crying together. For the sake of those memories I have to just walk away. Imagine if us older folks could walk into that locker room. I would be screaming and throwing trash cans across the room and make these guys pule there damn guts. I'd take them to meet all of us fans who remember the tears of joy of 2007 and have them feel our pain and all that we want is to be able to share the same passion, joy, and support to these guys. Take these guys to a bills game and actually sit with the fans and understand that this city will 100% ride or die with you if you do the same for them. However, I feel that the soul of the organization has been ripped out of since the Miller injury/hit by Lucic. It's time as a fan to really lay down our foot and not go to the games or support this anymore. We just can't guys! We can't sit here and continue to get our hopes up, only to be so crushed that it literally is tearing away our belief in this system. If anyone knows Terry have them contact Individuals like Roam, Dwayne (the phone call rant years ago if that is his name) and myself. The conversation will be to pack your things and get out of Buffalo and If you want to be an owner fine but every time you step in and make decisions that is another $10 million you donate to the city. Stay out of Buffalo, and leave the entire organization to real hockey individuals, not you clowns that you build from the inside who continue to ruin this organization.

The way things are going it will be the end of November/early December before they figure out how to play some semblance of Lindy's way.
I look back at the highlights of the Lindy years, and this team is not even close.

Next time the NHL tells the Sabres they're going to Europe Pegula should say, "Screw you! No thanks!" The European vacation shortened training camp with a new coach and system. I think that's part of the problem with the seasons start. Lindy has got to get Cozens, Quinn and the power play going. I don't envy his task. Going with two young goalies is what it is. They're going to have brutal nights. Both goaltenders didn't get much help the last two games. As for Adams I don't think he will get fired during the season. Maybe after the season if it's a bad one. Fans are frustrated. Fans are emotional. It's very early in the season with a young team and a new coach. Give it time. I always wait until Thanksgiving before I attend a riot.
Let’s start with the good JJ is looking wonderful and it looks like McLeod was a good deal I am too old to switch teams so I will keep supporting them no matter what let’s just pray for a comeback from the goalies

I don't blame Lindy for taking the job. They probably made him an offer he couldn't refuse. But he has that, been-there, done-that look about him that scream's…Why didn't I retire?

The entire group was awful, special teams, 😮goaltending, defense, being tough, etc. Losing Reimer may come back to bite them in ass.
Levi was not good and the turnovers again cost them dearly . Same players turning the puck over needs to be way way better !

Man I love you, I wish the front office had your passion. I'm sorry but Adams was given his job he did not earn it . Mr. Pegula cleaned house and left us with someone he could trust instead of getting a real GM with prior experience.
1) Adam’s need to add more vets like Detroit and Ottawa did, I didn’t agree with doing what they did at first but now maybe our guys aren’t as talented as we thought.
2) Lack of urgency and passion and mental strength
3) Looking lost like a beer league team out there
4) The Lines need to be jumbled up
5) May have to stop watching I can’t take this anymore no signs of improvement
6) Management is not it right now let’s upgrade the rink when we needed to upgrade or Team the arena should’ve been taken care of years ago before Covid

KA will be gone. Bad trades and CONTRACTS. I said before Cozens and Power got to big a contract that early in their career. Credit for Sabres drafting good.
I feel like Adam’s has reached his peak with this group, like he’s done all he can with these guys. Kinda like the Granato/Lindy coaching situation we might need a more experienced Gm who can come in and shake things up cause this core just doesn’t look inspired anymore. I feel helpless cause I’ll give 1000 n 1 excuses any night but this is getting ridiculous.
No Bruce Boudreau or Gerard Gallant…why won’t management hire enthusiastic winning coaches!! Tough to see what isn’t what could be..
Lindy quality veteran guy..never would have seen this as promising dynamic. You need that coach who generates optimism game to game. Analytics are not driving a team’s chances when the goal is a path to postseason. 🥅🏒🍎🍃✨
Not impressed with byram or dahlin. However, when they played together last season they were incredible. Maybe it’s harder as a coach to see these things because you’re too close to the action?

I’m in complete disbelief and also at a loss for words. The only good sign is we aren’t being blown out but with all of the 1st round talent on the team I can’t believe how bad we are playing.
Lindy can only do so much. Adams needs to gtfo.
