GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Hurricanes (10.18.24) | Drew O’Connor Scores an Excellent Goal



Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins faced the Carolina Hurricanes before heading off on their Western Canada tour. Drew O’Connor opened the game strong with a wrist shot assisted by Lars Eller and Jesse Puljujarvi. Unfortunately for the home team, Blake quickly answered this goal, tying up the game at 1-1 to enter the 2nd period. Around the 7-minute mark of the middle frame, Necas earned a snap-shot goal. This was followed by a second unanswered goal from the Canes at the end of the period by Gostisbehere, making the score 3-1. It was an active 3rd period until the halfway point when Roslovic scored, giving Carolina their final tally of the night, making it 4-1.

  1. I knew as soon as Dubas came to Pittsburgh it was over…i will be very surprised if the make the playoffs

  2. Can win em all. At least they didn’t give up the fight. A few bounced go our way and could’ve been a different game altogether. Way she goes boys lol

  3. Time to rethink the Eric Carlson pick up. He is horrible on defence and is doing nothing on the PP.
