I don’t know how we have the distinction of being goalied every single game. I understand otter is an elite goalie but our guys need to try to pick their shots more carefully. Especially when you have 20+ opportunities on net
I think we should try and trade Nuge at the deadline for a better more stable goaltender or a top 4 D man. Skinner can take his spot as the 4th forward on pp. I loved what Nuge brought but it’s clear age is coming fast for him.
REVENGE!!! Lol, no, this doesn't quite make up for losing the Conference Final.
I only caught the final few minutes so I thought this was one sided for the Stars. Turns out it was one sided alright just not the way i thought.
Some more work to be done. Despite the result, i think the Oil will be fine? I expect to have to go against them again in the spring if both make long runs again.
I've said it for 2 years, Nuge is a liability whenever he has the puck.
McDavid looks very average this season so far.

Your team THINKS its better than it is Oiler fans. You have a great team but there are 5 or 6 teams that are better. Same as last year eh. Goaltending and defense are kinda average at best. Amazing top 6 but it looks like no good bottom 6. crappy start and you will already need a big win streak to catch up to Calgary. Thats a funny sentence. Calgary sucks too.
Takes them too long to find chemistry as a team. They can’t score and stu is shook
They had so many great plays yesterday, but as the commentators said on the broadcast, they simply needed to elevate the puck against the Otter – and it was literally the same thing in the playoffs. The guy is a pad save specialist but it seemed like EVERY Oilers play was just east-west-low shot that would beat lots of goalies but not this one. Also I remember a LOT of Hyman goals where he hit top corner from like 2 feet out, was hoping for one of those.
Top two lines need to get offence going and goaltending needs to improve. Too many soft goals. Both Power play and penalty kill is lousy. Easy to criticize but hopefully they can improve all of this. I have faith that they will get things rectified. 😀🥅🏒
I think arvisson might take some time loke brown, he missed lots of time last year. I hope he gets a goal soon
Skinner only looks good when the D and penalty kill is flawless . He needs to be sheltered . Look back at the Vancouver series , only when the entire team played TIGHT defense limiting shots to less than 20 did Skinner survive . This blue line can't carry Skinner . Offense ? Knoblauch keeps searching for chemistry , doesn't seem to understand you build chemistry and these daily blender lines make sure that doesn't happen . . .
