Swap Nuge with Skinner / Arvidsson. Without stably 90% SV…can't have a chance to win…Stu collapsed completely after letting a weak one in…not a top goalie mentality…Bouch as a d man did nothing for defence, don't let Bouch carry the puck and dance around to make plays…Bouch needs to learn d so bad…
Everyone talking about how our offence needs to step it up. If our goalie cant stop a beach ball weâre never gonna win anything we need a proper goalie
Hi Patrick and all Oilers from Germany. What can I say, a better game 5-5, 20-9 shots after the second period but only a Remis standing on the board. Great chances missed, Powerplay is sick, McD had no luck, also Hyman, and then it comes like it is, our defense made a little mistake and you are one goal down! It will be interested and hopefully discussed why our trainer didn't benched someone this time for getting a penalty after getting the goal, like he did with Drai last game?!!! It makes me really sad looking at the first good game of my team, having great chances and aren't able to use their chances to shoot goals! I said it last time no new impulses for the Powerplay, most teams know how to disturb McD and Drai effectively, Skinner, I am sorry not as good as end of last season, I can't see getting better with his hands or killing his Skinner moments effectively, Bouchard has much shots without a goal and is unconcentrated in defense. It is not much but we didn't have any luck at all. Drai scored like he did mostly with a direct shot but it was too late. Sad time for supporters far away! Cheers!
The score wasnât a good reflection of the game. Still too many highlight passes rather than shooting the puck. PP has become predictable. Thanks for the update from my couch to yours. 3am game here đ
Oilers played well. It could have gone either way. Jake O is a great goalie. Im not mad if we played well. We plaued well. Except power play. But we deserved a better result. On to the next
Skinner second worst goalie in the league right now by save %. Dustin Schwartz is the goalie coach of 2 of 3 worst goalies in the league as of right now
Last year we reach the finals with Skinner but i think we need a number one goalie, Skinner is a very good second man but Look at the Cup Champions in the Last years they Had outstanding goalies. But i know its nearly Impossible to get someone

Skinner 20 Saves on 23 Shots = .870 Save %age (meh)
This was a very tight game until very late in the 2nd when Dallas scored on their one and only PP chance (so our PK failed again). On the plus side the guys didn't take a lot of penalties (just the one tripping by Stecher). On the minus side when down a man they couldn't keep it out of the twine. On the other side of the specialty teams battle Oilers went zero for two on the PP (so PP wasn't working either) but Dallas also had discipline and only took 2 penalties. Oilers shot more, had a lot more giveaways and a LOT fewer blocked shots. They won a LOT more faceoffs but didn't capitalize on the wins so irrelevant.
The Oilers denied Oettinger's bid for his 2nd Shutout this season but Oettinger did great. Stu, well, I'm not totally sure how much of this was a him issue and how much was the rest of the team.
I couldn't watch the game (again). Surgery (physical, not laser) is Monday on both eyes. I'll be out of action for some time. Hope you enjoy these stats and observations. Take care all.

Hi Patrick. I am in no way a hater, but Knobs is starting to sound redundant, same song and dance every press conference. As a fan i am slowly losing any confidence in our goaltending, even last year i was never on the Skinner bandwagon. He is a nice guy and a fan favorite , but as we know those qualities dont win hockey games or Stanley Cups. GO OILERS!!!
Yep, Bowman is travelling with the team. No wonder your cat is upset. Sure didn't sound like a happy meow. Maybe Bowman could have dinner or smoke some weed with the opponent's team just before they play the Oilers. Good luck charm. Doesn't Broberg have more points than McDavid? I know he had/has a six-game point streak. Sure glad the Oilers didn't match that offer sheet.

Teams getting better. 1 or 2 games where the goals are in the boys favor I think will really help

I would replace Hyman with Perry as the net front guy for their power plays.
