I’m very worried that this two back-to-back game week is kind of a make or break week for the first half of the season. I know that sounds dramatic but it just feels like if the team can’t bounce back and really win a couple of these games by a good margin they might lose their confidence.
The schedule makers didn't do the Flyers any favors the first few weeks of the season.
But they have to play the cards they're dealt.
Start tonight with a win.
Lol, why even have Deslaurier on the roster if he's never going to play? Michkov and TK have both already been targeted in games and TK had to stand up for himself and fight a guy. What are they waiting for? One of our skill players to actually get hurt before we decide to react? I don't get it.
Especially after so much lip service in the pre-season about how Nick was going to be Matvei's "new best friend". He probably met the guy one time and hasn't spoken to him since.
Nashville is 0-5. It could be worse.
A win would be nice – and set the tone for the rest of the season. We looked so FLAT last game.
Flyers start season 1-4-1?. The end of last year they could care less about winning. Now they can't buy a win.
