Against Dallas the root cause was the 'rugby tackle' from Stecher, which was absolutely not necessary to give that penalty to the Stars. Then 4 Oilers skewed to the right, leaving a 4-lanes highway in front of skinner to be shot on. So don't see that as 'transition weakness'. Skinner looked really bad at that goal. After that, McDavid had a flaky pass, lost the puck and we got scored 2-0, at that point it was game over as they pushed and got scored again. The fact that the crumble like a sand-castle after they are behind, is a Knoblauch problem to solve and the ARMY of psychologists they have. For me it is training team not doing so far a good job, MORE than the players.
McDavid get married is the reason ? come on . They are not in the same team any more. Management only wants to give big money for super star player. They want to low ball all other players. That is why all yong guy left. You will think they want to stay with oilers to get a cup. But it is the management who just tell them , you guys does not even worth 1.8 m AAV. We just want go cheap.
