I think you send both casey and nemec..pair them together in ahl and let them grow together
I find Seamus needs to work more on the physical play and needs to Sasquatch up. Simon Nemec is turning the corner defensively and as been improving.
I'm disappointed in the Casey news regardless of how much sense it makes. I'm a newer Devil's fan (selected as my Eastern Conference team) and I think he's looked really good. This is pure speculation, but I get the sense he isn't getting minutes because we have injured players returning. I don't think it has anything to do with him lagging behind. Why? If he continues to perform well it's a bad look for the franchise to demote him. Fans are all heart. They're not going to care who has seniority or why it might make sense for Casey to continue to develop if he's getting pucks in the net.

Once Hughes takes off the playoffs shouldn't be a problem. However that defense needs to get a lot better until then.
