Maybe the problem wasnt tyler johnson afterall. Maybe its your coach, your defacto captain gm, your next gen player (one goal)…
Only players I noticed doing good things consistently were Bertuzzi, Hall and Reichel, they were the only players I wasn't dreading seeing on the ice. Bedard was alright and had a ton of shots, but it seemed like he was flailing out there a bit. I love Foligno, I really do, but from the beginning I wasn't sold on him being captain. i think he's a good leader and veteran presence, but I just don't see enough accountability from him. I don't want to play the comparison game, but when Toews was around, if the Hawks had a bad game, he took all of that on himself and always preached that he needs to be setting a better example and do better.
