As much as it goes against popular opinion, it’s time for a rebuild in Pitt.
Core is aging out and they have no good young talent to do the heavy lifting for them. Very bad D and mediocre goaltending means no playoffs again for the Pens this season.

Who really cares. They just wait till their overage core retires and out of compliment have them in the team still. Erik karlsson contract was hilariously stupid and final nail to coffin for any of their hopes for quick fix
