People say its just a game, yeah. But we pay HUNDREDS of dollars to watch them lose 7-2. Of course its frustrating.
These last three home games have been brutal to watch. Feels like we never even have a chance. At what point do we start talking about firing MSL đ€·ââïž Anyways Love the post game vids like this boys.

On one hand weâre going through a rebuild and maybe us playing bad is just indicative of where we are in the rebuild. Maybe this isnât the year for us to be in the mix but whereâs the progression? We had a better record after 7 games last year
100% agree with everything youâve said. This was a total disgrace, especially in front of all the legends that were there. Something needs to change. If weâre about to be bottom 5 again, atleast we need to show life. The team looks dead and it feels like losing is being normalized. Kent and Jeff must not be too happy to see that. The whole point of having MSL is to build a culture but the culture seems to have vanished if you compare to the end of last year where guys were playing with passion and giving their 100% even with all the injuries.
Also I like MSL but he seems a bit too relax in the presser. I feel like it shouldâve been a « on Ă©tait pas lĂ Ă soir » type of presser.
I have been saying this since we signed him, send Hutson to Laval, I don't want him being on this awful team, let him play top line minutes in Laval and get him on a team that actually has passion. Defence is atrocious! Worst defending I've seen ever this year, it's garbage, the team needs to grow up fast, and get Arber into the goddamn lineup!

I agree man! This is unacceptable, itâs getting really annoying when our team is always in the basement of the league, yeah itâs great to get a higher draft pick but how long has this been going on for? I know Iâm starting to grow impatient with this team because what they showed me tonight is that they are nowhere ready for playoffs let alone do anything in them.
MSL has to go. Monty has to go. Our GM needs to wake up.

Although frustrated, I watched to the end for 3 reasons: 1 to see if Suzuki would get a hat trick, 2 to see it Lane would get his first goal, and 3 to see if Caufield would score another goal. Other than that, they lost me in the first 5 minutes as well. PS, Xhekaj would have taken care of business for that hit. We absolutely need players like him on the ice.
The biggest mistake was giving Montembeault a chance to stay in net after 2 goals in 6 minutes
Rangers fan here. The game was very evenly matched in the first period. The difference that I saw was bad defense on the first goal (the Rangers do that too), a screw-up by the deep linesman that led to a weird goal, and a great play. It got out hand early but the Canadians were getting high quality scoring chances. And yeah, I have had enough of Trouba as well. You guys will figure it out. In the meantime, you can watch us lose in the playoffs again this year because all of our stars can't perform in the playoffs.
Habs are bottom team. Rangers real contender. QED! No single expert said they would be in mix unless is was bias Montreal press.
We can only go up from here, right? Trying to stay positive, but it ain't easy. Doesn't help that NHL refs are the worst in all pro sports. . . Not an excuse, but getting fed up

Oui baisser les bras comme on lâa fait aprĂšs le 5e but câest une attitude qui faut quâon se dĂ©barrasse!Oui faut se dĂ©fendre plus et faire payer ceux qui se permettent de nous piller sur les pieds! Vous lâadmettez vous meme vous avez meme pas vu les 3 premier goal vous Ă©tiez en train de monter les marches (btw who the fuck sits down this late, When you are super fans like yourselves? đ ) bin pendant ces premiere minute de jeux les canadiens ont mis des bons efforts, câest des histoires de shift mal finit, dâarbitre qui call pas le icing et de revirement exploitĂ© par les Rangers. Jâsuis dâaccord que câest des erreurs qui faut Ă©viter de faire tho donât get me wrong. Le 4e but câest un but sur power play, Monty aurait du lâarrĂȘter tho.
En fin de premiere on a poussĂ©, on a eu des bonnes chances de marquer ça lâa donnĂ© le premier goal de Suzuki. En dĂ©but de 2e pareil on avait des bonnes chance et le 2e but de Suzuki Ă©tait magnifique (je pensais sincĂšrement quâon allait revenir dans le match aprĂšs ça, quâon Ă©tait en train de reprendre le momentum) pis bon ça sâest Ă©croulĂ© aprĂšs le 5e but comme jâai dit la jâavoue aprĂšs ça je peut pu rien dĂ©fendre les gars ont juste give up et semblait avoir juste hĂąte de retourner chez eux et comme vous lâavez dit câest inacceptable voire insultant pour les fans qui payent des billets.
Donât get ne wrong itâs one of the worst game of the season so far, if not the worst (perso je trouve la game contre les kings pire pcq celle lĂ on aurait du la gagner, celle dâhier je mâattendais a la perdre) je trouve juste ça injuste de dire que yâa eu zĂ©ro cĆur et effort pcq câest faux allait regarder les highlights et les stats de la game; jusquâĂ la deuxiĂšme moitiĂ© de la 2e pĂ©riode les Habs avaient plus de tir au but que NY et avait autant de chance de marquer.

As a Ranger fan, I feel bad for you. Two goalies that couldn't stop a beach ball on top of us hitting 7 posts. You are lucky this game wasn't 15-2. The Trouba hit was brutal, but clean. It might have been unnecessary given the lead we had… but it's hockey. He knocked a couple years off that guys life with that hit.

Ranger fan here – while I enjoyed the game, hah, I was actually shocked by how passive the Habs were. And why wasn't Xhekaj in the lineup if MSL KNEW that Trouba was playing?!? That's malpractice. This, BTW, is EXACTLY why Gorton got fired as Ranger GM; his squads were too soft. Pretty soon, the Habs owners are gonna figure this out too.

What exactly were you expecting guys? It's called rebuilding, not step into a playoff spot. If you can't understand this concept, save your swear words for year 5, if the team is the same. Maybe half the team won't be the there in 2 more years, then you can rant and rave but don't give yourself a coronary in year 3. It's game 7 of 82…in time we will know who should stay and who should go. I'm convinced the Habs will not be in the "mix" this year, too many young guys jumping up and the older guys are looking older and a few not interested. So things will need to change but like I said , it's game 7. I'm sure changes are in the works so be cautious about your expectations this year, a top 5 pick maybe the best we can hope for. Cheers, good exuberance, but saying f,,k so many times makes you look less serious as a commentator. I'm sure you can come up with more of an intellectual approach. Love the enthusiasm, and I hope your podcast or YouTube site does well. Next time have a couple of drinks and watch the game at Sir Winston's , a nice looking female bartender may make up for a dud of a game by Nos Glorieux. Cheers
