  1. Nothing wrong with the hit. People keep forgetting it’s a contact sport. They teach you in hockey school don’t put yourself in a bad position to get hit.

  2. i guess he was at fault for hitting when hes getting off balance but Kaiden Guhle held onto it for way to long, he's been in this league long enough to know to not put himself in that vulnerable of a position, especially not in the nhl.

  3. Habs fan here. I don't think that's a good hit. I wouldn't think it's a good hit on Cederick Pare or Matt Cooke either.

  4. He needs stronger legs , the entire group of kids they have get run over constantly and pushed off the puck cus they dont have enough strength in their legs

  5. Game 164 of Guhle almost getting injured. I love the guy and he's going to be an absolute stud of a player but he needs to stop putting himself in dangerous positions. Not much he can do here but just in general

  6. Thats nothing, Kempe's headlock on Hutson after he hit him, THAT was seriously dangerous. (Kempe fell after the hit and grabbed hutson by the neck as he fell). I saw a similar headlock put a player in a wheelchair for life once. Extremely reckless

  7. I don’t care what anybody says here, 3-5 feet away from the boards with a hit like that in vulnerable position is called boarding. Here’s the definition, ‘Boarding in ice hockey is a penalty called when an offending player pushes, trips or checks an opposing player violently into the boards of the hockey rink.’ Was he pushed through guy h the body, yes. Was it violent, yes the player hurt on the ice and the play had to be stopped. He didn’t even go shoulder to shoulder. 1000% boarding but just a 2 min 👍
