I'd like to see contracts have less term . I remember the days of three and five year deals. I would prefer to see a three or four year deal for Zary. He's still developing let him shine and show some cconsistency before we start handing out term.
Sign him before you try him at centre, he’s a good enough player that he could play any forward position. If you wait until you find out he’s a line driver at centre, it’ll cost a lot more. Plus, he doesn’t play a style that would make him prone to injuries, like Pospisil.

i will say hes probably the best player on our squad … and still growing so that usually projects pretty goood.. all star lvl player maybe not a top 10 but a top 30 guy ..deffs a star players in the league ..team canada very possibly.. his contract is very key bcus it will set the standard … our prospect pool is deeeep ..which looks very nice now but if we wanna keep all these future guys parakehs brus honzo corn basha gridin and more ..not to mention hubeys inevitable cap hit locked in we need team friendly contracts we need that montreal canadians level cap management..thats our best bet of being a solid team for years to come.. is strong depth bcus we dont have a top10 player we need as many good players on good deals
