Jets fan here. We've been waiting for Perfetti to pop. Everyone has known that he is capable of being a top 6. Iafalo, BTW, is totally worth his contract. He may be on the 4th line but he is a force on the ice. The factor is the locker room. This is a group of guys who love to be on this team. I ran into Lowry at the dog park. Man, such a great guy!
The Jets are not just at the top of the Central Division, they're at the top of the Western Conference and the whole League. No one is talking about that.
Toffoli and Monahan played well after the trade deadline but totally disappeared in the playoffs. Toffoli looked like he was hurt or just old and Monahan was invisible.
What I’ve always appreciated about the Jets is that from the Jump Chevy has always prioritized a solid balanced lineup. People always say in the off season we need X, or we need Y, gotta make trades or additions. But we perform well with the group we have and we’re seeing the rewards for that strategy. Every single line and D pairing are threatening on the ice and performing well. Gotta keep it rolling.

The two rental players they lost had nothing to do with last season’s success. They were there for the last couple of weeks.
