This Was Classic Tkachuk

Nhl hockey today – The first month of the 2024-25 NHL season is almost over and there have been plenty of great games and goals , standings surprises and our favorite (and least favorite in some cases lol) players getting reacquainted and back up to their old tricks. That panthers vs islanders game was peak matthew tkachuk and he broke the game open not with mcdavid mackinnon speed or auston matthews elite shot , but with his rat king facet of his game. Especially that first matthew tkachuk goal sums him up perfectly in a nutshell lol. 1. What are you talking about? The play was nowhere near Varlomov and he cross checked him lightly or not for no reason. easy 2 mins

  2. We the fuck are you talking about. How is the cross check not a penalty goalie’s are protected you can’t cross check a goalie in their crease. 😂

  3. Чаки молодец👍 Надо ещё свеймену вломить в регулярке , а то сильно борзый стал бостонский вратаришка

  4. Got chopped in my ankle by a goalie in High School AA and immediately turned around and speared him in the nether regions. Got 2 minutes and don't regret a single thing.

  5. BULLSHIT!! the NHL has ZERO consistency unless your bettemans Florida panthers… just like when Sam bennett in the playoffs shoved a bruins player in their goalie and they scored and it was allowed.. or just like when Bennett sucker punched Brad marchand and got No suspension.. the NHL is a total joke theyre not even hiding the fact they rig games for certain teams (panthers) SHIT MARKETS anymore

  6. Did you hear about the major fight that Roy and Lou Lamoriello had before the game? Rumors that Roy might resign

  7. That’s why we love Chucky. Varlamov got owned. Chucky had another beauty on the PP too against the Islanders. Can’t wait until Barky comes back.

  8. If that was an oiler that goal would have been called back, Tkachuk was clearly in the crease breathing the same air as the goalie, interfering with the save attempt some how

  9. The Panthers realized what the Bruins had been doing all through the 2010s.

Officials will not assess every penalty and there is the inclination to even up calls regardless of how controlled/wild one team is playing.

It's complete nonsense, but it's definitely effective so you can't blame them for playing that way.

We really need more goalies like Hextall who would knock your legs out if you got too cute.

  10. I am so glad he's on my team. He and Bennett rub off on the rest of the team as well. It's beautiful. Cats are the Fuck You squad

  11. Chucky ? Oh that is a great name for him. I hate his guts, like I used to hate Marhcand, Matt Cooke, all the elite back stabbing , hit avoidong, predatory rat bastards. I often wonder what our team would have been like, where we might have gone, if we'd taken Chucky instead of Laine with our pick.

  12. He's the most protected player in the league right now, refs don't let anyone near him for long.

  13. Nhl is the top league and we do not need filthy dumb players like this in it. Either have a talent and work hard of g f yourself with this rat stuff. Thumbs down.

  14. Bro… are the F…ing kidding me? If Rempe on the Rangers brushes against a guy he’s thrown out of the game. NHL IS RIGGED!!!!! STOP WATCHING!!!

  15. thanks for another solid vid. i saw comments online about this goal before i watched this vid – appreciate the context and comments

  16. Actually heard about this from The Winged Wheel Podcast guys, had no idea it happened. This situation is hilarious, and the most Matthew Tkachuk play ever – certifying him as the new "Rat" in place of Marchand. Also, Ryan on WWP said something I agree with. The crosscheck should have been goalie interference, like that's still a penalty in the NHL. It doesn't just apply to things related to a goal. My guess is the Zebras didn't even see it.

  17. I mean by NHL defenition this is actually goalie interferance, you're allowed to score while inside the crease as long as you dont interfere with the goalies ability to reset, which he clearly does because by the time he gets his stick on the puck hes physically in the middle of the crease and varlomov is clearly making an attempt to move over and look behind him which hes totally unable to do because he has tkachuk pushing on him and shoulder shoving him, the fact this was allowed and the fact people dont understand the rules is insane lol
