Is Canales on Carolina Panthers hot seat? | Carolina Hurricanes dominate October road trip | OG283

Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio open the show with the World Series, which has not been a battle of titans thanks to Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees fizzling out. That expands into a larger conversation about baseball becoming a regional sport and how the New York City media no longer dictates what fans are talking about. Moving on to the NFL, where the Carolina Panthers look to be sellers at the trade deadline. CBS Sports’ Will Brinson also floats the possibility of Dave Canales being on the hot seat. To the NHL, where the Carolina Hurricanes were spectacular during their traditional NC State Fair road trip. N&O columnist Luke DeCock helps break down what’s been going right and what could potentially be an issue for the Canes.

  1. We havent heard from or seen David Tepper this season, so why do people keep bringing him up and bashing on him. What happened has happened, can we move on until he does something that needs to be discussed

  2. 0:08 let's podcast, I got to tell you belichick on the Manning cast is the most fantastic thing ever. So much forehead, so much football, so much greatness.

  3. Canales is fine – unlike #9 who he knows does not have NFL skills – Get Dalton back in there and roll with it then improve roster in offseason – us fans are now paying the Bryce Young penalty! Going to take some time hopefully better next year and Young in the CFL

  4. In the will brenson segment the doors- cabinets behind him moves slightly back and forth often, is he in a haunted house? Just curious
