Riley Tufte has been assigned to the AHL after clearing waivers.
The Bruins now have enough space to sign Tyler Johnson according to cap wages, a cap friendly replacement.
Now they don’t play again until tomorrow night Tuesday, meaning they may wait to sign a guy like Tyler Johnson just till the last minute to accrue more cap space the less you have on there, the more you accrue moving forward.
So look for that to happen at some point, maybe this today or prior to their next game, which is Tuesday evening against the Philadelphia Flyers.
