  1. Avalanche are definitely not in. They will not give up Makar, who would be a piece going to Buffalo.

  2. I think the Wild could do a sign and trade with Buffalo in some way/shape/form for either Reinhart or Eichel. With other pieces involved too. Minny desperately need one or the other. Fiala is pretty underrated. Powerful skater/great scorer/3 on 3 OT he can dominate. I would love to see the Wild keep him. Try keep Ek/Kaprizov/Fiala/Zuc to go with Eichel or Reinhart. Eichel/Ek/N.Foligno (when he signs from TOR)/Sturm down the middle would be pretty salty. Rossi will get the call up hopefully mid season and move Sturm or N Foligno to the wing. Wild’s depth chart is going to be young but great for the next 4 years. With the 2 buyouts Bill G is betting on the their prospect pool that is going to play on entry level deals the next 3-4 years. This is doable but they need to give up some of the prospect pool to get a competent #1 center.

  3. If they flip Cale to buffalo and Buffalo picks Owen Power, and then Dahlin and Ramus R as your second line and you have an amazing defense for a few years

  4. The Aves don't want to pay landeskog so they certainly won't want to pay Eichel 10 million per season, Sakic has a plan and it doesn't include over paying any currant players or signing them until age 37.

  5. Please let Minnesota get Eichel. I'd love to see ol' Billy Boy work magic after next season. It just doesn't work, so it could get really interesting. Drama, drama, drama!

  6. Why tf would teams in the nhl trade their future for jack eichle.. yeah he’s good but man nobody should sell their future for him. I would never want my team to get him

  7. For Jack to go to Colorado it starts with Byram and Newhook and then its slim pickings. The draft picks are not great so its hard for Buffalo to settle with those 2 B grade prospects and late first rounders. Can't see Colorado being a legit fit unless Buffalo is really desperate.

  8. I'll take Eichel at 10 if Landy wants 9. But I don't see the Avs doing any deals to get Eichel for exactly the reasons you listed. The cap, especially a flat cap, has completely changed the way the Avs have to approach these things.

  9. It doesn't make sense to me for the avs to be targeting Eichel. Why offer Landeskog only 5 million and then think your able to offer Eichel 10 for the next couple years. Plus the price is very high for a team like Colorado to pay to acquire Eichel. I just don't see it. Though ever since the buyouts on Parise and Suter I've been counting the Wild as front runners on Eichel, in my eyes.

  10. If Colorado lose Landeskog, Reinhart makes a lot more sense in terms of asking price and cap hit if Colorado was to get someone from Buffalo

  11. the avs can't afford eichel. even if landeskog is leaving, they'll have to pay makar and grubauer, and they'll have to give mackinnon a huge raise in a few years. sabres would ask for newhook for sure and probably byram too. kadri and another contract…compher? jost burakovsky? if the avs trade for eichel, they'll become the leafs. if they want to trade for a center, they're better off looking at reinhart, kuznetsov, or monahan.

are the wild willing to give up rossi? the sabres will insist on him. fiala, their earlier 1st, and soucy as well?

  12. Sam Reinhart fits the Avs perfectly. Newhook, 1st,
Eichel to Vegas or Minny fits those teams better, esp Vegas where Victor Oloffson should be part of the package.

  13. I am still not sure if Eichel won't be a Ranger come next season. If not, the Wild have all the assets to make the move. The Golden Knights have all the desperation to make the move.

  14. I dont think Eichs goes to the Avs but if that is the case id like a sign and Trade with Landeskog where he can get the money he wants and the Sabres get a better Captian. Also id want Newhook Byram and a 2023' 1st rd pick. Id settle for that. To The wild It be for me Jack Eichel Jacob Bryson and a 2nd rd 2021 pick for Rossi Boldy Dumba the 21st overall pick in this years draft and a 2023 1st rd pick.

  15. Eichel will end up on the Wild. Billy G drop a big hint in Rossa podcast last Friday. Billy dose not make random moves.

  16. I've heard rumblings of Minnesota willing to give up Rossi, Boldy, a 1st rd pick, and a roster player (usually Fiala). Which sounds like it could be the best offer.
