For the first time in his career, Tage Thompson is headed to the NHL All-Star game. Sneaky Joe looks at the Atlantic Division selections, and how tough it will be for Rasmus Dahlin to be one of the last three voted in, given who else in the division didn’t.

  1. Joe, I understand you are excited for your team, and that is the reason you are a big homer in this preview. Objectively though, I think you're underestimating and overlooking the Minnesota Wild. The Wild have a better record than Buffalo, have more points, but Buffalo do have a game in hand. Minnesota goalies are better than the three Buffalo goalies. Buffalo may have an advantage in goals scored. Minnesota scoring isn't as high due to injuries to a few forwards earlier in the season. Minnesota defense is technically solid, and they play an exciting two way game. Minnesota is on a roll now is 100% healthy. Saturday's game should be a fun game to watch.

  2. Another great night on Friday for the playoff chase. I think I would have preferred Florida losing to Detroit, but other than that, a near perfect night for the Sabres playoff odds.
