Hockey players are just built different! I would have been crying on the floor had that been me… Wheeler is as tough as they come.

As someone who has suffered through a few excruciating nut injuries, I don’t know how he played through that. His injury was 100x worse than mine but I was in a wheelchair for a week because I couldn’t walk with the pain. My respect for him grew infinitely.

unpopular opinion: we shouldn’t celebrate this.
one period of hockey isn’t worth the risk of exacerbating an injury that could not only affect an nhl career, but also a players’ quality of life in the future.
wheeler’s a tank, and i’m glad he’s ok, but just sit out next time

Rarely is it some over the top reaction like you’ll see on tv/movies/online videos.
