    Scratching Mantha seems nuts, but what do I know. Hopefully it’s just one game/message sender. If Backstrom looks reasonable I’d honestly rather sit Eller and play Strome at C where he’s played well. Love Eller and will never forget the game 5 goal, but my guess is that’s what puts the most complete team on the ice (again assuming Backstrom is at least 60-70% of what he used to be).

    what a great day for Washington sports. Despite the Commanders being out of it, we get to witness what i hope will be the debut of a real contender for franchise QB in Sam Howell (hope he plays well but not well enough to screw up our draft position) AND THEN we get to witness the return of Wilson and Backstrom
