Buffalo seems like the only chance Toronto has to not see a rematch with Tampa lol
A Sabres-Leafs matchup for the first time in since the 1999 ECF would be electric!

Nice job here, thanks.
The Pacific’s success (relative to that of the other two divisions) against the Atlantic catches my attention. Probably some effect of schedules-to-date involved there.

Get back here, Chicago!

Fun fact: The Boston Bruins have earned 61 regulation points after 39 games. It’s been almost 30 years since a team hit that mark.
61+ regulation points after 39 games:
* 2022-23 Boston (61 points)
* 1994-95 Detroit (61 points)
* 1979-80 Philadelphia (64 points)
* 1978-79 NY Islanders (61 points)
* 1976-77 Montreal (62 points)
* 1970-71 Boston (61 points)

If the Sabres didn’t suffer that losing streak. Even a few wins out of that and they would be looking real great.

All the top teams have been a little uneven the last couple weeks; Toronto, Tampa, Dallas, Carolina, New Jersey, Vegas, Winnipeg bouncing around the top of the graph.
And then there’s Boston.

You can basically see the exact moment Samuelsson got hurt and returned to our lineup in this chart

When do we start lapping teams in the charts?

The scary January road trip is going very well so far! We already have more road wins this season than we did in the entirety of last season lol

The tank crew are really stepping it up since the WJC kicked off. Great chance to see what they’re not fighting for.

The Hawks are off the charts.

Boston is going to drive me fucking crazy. Every damn game you look at it and think, man surely they will loose this one it’s so close or there other team looks so good but then it just goes their way. They are a fucking good team, and deserve respect, and all my years of sports usually teams like this at some point falter, but for fuck sakes this is otherworldly.
Now as a Bolts fan I remember when my team was doing this, and I remember how it ended we all do. Then again I know how it’s going now and back to back Boston championship would destroy my mind.
