It may be a poor comparison, but imagine an NHL team getting an automatic spot in the conference finals. Obviously, a team would do as much as they can for a shot.

With the Memorial Cup being late May to early June, we’re unlikely to see Zell with the Gulls this year. This will give the college kids who sign and the junior kids whose season end early an opportunity to get a look
